10043409 - Zebra PolyPro 4000D Barcode Labels
Direct Thermal Poly Labels for Cold Chain and Tote Labeling
Cold chain and tote labeling punish paper: condensation softens it, and peeling it off reusable containers leaves shredded scraps. Zebra PolyPro 4000D labels solve both with a 2.8 mil matte white polypropylene face that resists moisture and tearing.
The labels print by direct thermal, so there is no ribbon to manage. An all-temperature permanent acrylic adhesive applies to surfaces as cold as -40°F, holds from -65°F to 131°F, and meets FDA 175.105 for indirect food contact.
Typical uses include cold storage and freezer labels, package labels in warehouses, shrink wrap and food packaging labels, and ID labels on reusable totes, crates, and shelving that need clean replacement.
Where the PolyPro 4000D Fits in Cold Chain Workflows
Labels print on a desktop, industrial, or mobile direct thermal printer and can be applied right in the cold room or freezer. When a reusable tote or crate cycles back, the tear-resistant label peels off whole and a new one goes on.
The 4000D is meant for indoor use, with an expected life of up to 1 year.
Operational Advantages for Cold and Wet Labeling
- Labels can be applied inside cold storage at temperatures down to -40°F.
- Moisture resistance stands up to condensation and wet handling.
- Whole-label removal speeds tote and crate turnover.
- Ribbon-free printing simplifies supplies on mobile printers.
