Thermal Transfer VOID Labels for Tamper-Evident Product and Asset ID
Security labeling only works if removal leaves a trace. Zebra 8000T Void Matte labels combine a 2.0 mil silver polyester face with a tamper-evident acrylic adhesive that leaves a VOID pattern behind when the label is lifted.
Printed with Zebra 6200 or 5095 ribbons, each label can carry its own barcode or serial number. The label resists weak and moderate chemicals, applies at 23°F and up, and performs from -20°F to 212°F.
Typical uses include tamper-evident security labels, serialized product ID labels, and asset tags on equipment where a removed or swapped label must be easy to spot.
Where the 8000T Void Matte Fits in a Labeling Workflow
Labels print on a thermal transfer printer with 6200 or 5095 ribbon and are applied once, directly to the product or asset. After about 24 hours of dwell, any attempt to remove the label exposes the VOID pattern, and Zebra's stainless steel test showed 100% voiding.
